A favorite of the Salvia clevelandii cultivars, Pozo Blue is a good choice for a garden and is adaptable to different types of soil but thrives in hot, dry areas with good drainage. Fragrant leaves and beautiful purple/blue flowers.

Prune back in fall or winter to prevent woody, leggy growth and to encourage more blooms in spring.³

Grows faster than Salvia ‘Celestial Blue’ although not as frost hardy
Slightly more upright than wide but can take a evenly rounded form with full sun exposure
