Native Planting Season Kickoff

  • The Little Barn at Native West Nursery 1849 Leon Avenue San Diego, CA, 92154 United States (map)

Let’s kick off the start of native planting season together! Late fall is the best time for planting native plants because it allows the plants to take full advantage of our winter rainy season, helping them establish deep root systems for staying resilient during the hot, dry summer months.

With our 100+ acre wholesale growing yard just across the street, we can offer a huge selection of native and drought-tolerant plants with a particular focus on the hardiest and best options for our SoCal landscape. We’ll be here to answer questions and help you achieve your dream native garden.

🌿 Browse through over 125 species of native plants and learn about all they have to offer

🌱 Now is the best time to get your native seeds in the ground!  Shop through 20+ species of native seed and mix and match to create your own little superbloom in your backyard.

🌼 Learn more about native seeds for the garden and habitat restoration at our native plant talks

🗒️ Schedule a consultation with a Landscape Designer to receive some extra help with your garden plan! Bring along photos of your yard, and let experienced designers work their magic, helping you select the perfect plants and offering valuable advice on how to make your garden thrive.
